CLASS INFO

Group classes are multi level and demos are based on student interests. Beginner potters always get a basic intro to clay during their first 5 classes, while those with more experience are invited to try new techniques or further develop their favorite skills. Students are encouraged to come in with ideas and inspiration as we aim to plan their course around their interests

Group class size is maximum 5 students, so there is always individualized attention. We focus on hand building  (using coils, slabs and pinching) though we do enjoy using our a professional grade wheel and I am happy to give beginner throwing lessons when requested in advance.

Completed work is fired and ready for glazing in one or two weeks  (depending on our firing schedule)  and ready to go home one - two weeks after being glazed.

Group classes are multi level and are led by student interests. Beginner potters always get a basic intro to clay during their first 5 classes, while those with more experience are invited to try new techniques or further develop their favorite skills. We specialize in hand built wares, although we do have one wheel, I am only able to give beginner wheel throwing lessons. Students are encouraged to come in with ideas and inspiration as we aim to plan their course around their interests. We use Porcelain, Speckled Stoneware, and White Stoneware.  All of our materials are non-toxic and completed pieces are always food safe and oven/microwave and dishwasher safe.
